The original is a Thracian golden application decorating the clothes of a noble Thracian or the ruler himself. The symbols on the application express the Thracian image for the world’s structure: 3 levels, Earth – Snake / Air – Griffin / Sky - Lion. The symbols also express their social structure and the structure of the leading power. The last one is expressed like: Lion - God-Sun - Ruler / Griffin - Mediator between the sun and earth - Ruler’s son / Snake - Mother-Goddess - Queen. The Greek mythology adopted many from the Thracians and in it we can see many examples of the dynasty battles between the gods and also between their tellurian reflection – the leading family. The application expresses the relation between the members of the family in a living and social aspect like “united enemies”.
